Mr. Zimmerman is the founder of The Florida Bar Special Committee on Entertainment, Arts and Sports Law, which became The Florida Bar Entertainment, Arts and Sports Law Section (EASL) in 1988. He was bestowed the honor of Chair Emeritus of EASL in 2009, and was given a lifetime achievement award in 2012.
